Getting ready for the holidays
I had a nice Thanksgiving day with my in- laws. We just stayed for the day. We got our Christmas decorations out on Sunday. I wasn’t feeling well so I let my kids decorate the tree. They did a pretty good job. Normally I would be upset if I didn’t get to do it the way I wanted it. But I’m still learning to let go of control over certain things and just enjoying things as they are.
I urge you not to overdue it over the next month. It will still be Christmas if cookies aren’t baked and every inch of the house isn’t decorated. Have your children or a neighbor help if possible. Make things as simple as possible. I will have more ideas over the next month. I hope everyone had a good vacation.
